Jakarta, Madina Line.Com – Dahlan Watihellu mantan Pengurus Besar-Himpunan Mahasiswa Indonesia (PB-HMI) menyayangkan tindakan prosedur penangkapan yang dilakukan pihak Polda Metro Jaya (PMJ) karena apakah sudah sesuai mengikuti hukum dan hak azasi manusia (HAM) yang berlaku. “Kalau sebenarnya unsur-unsur itu belum dipenuhi, maka penangkapan serta penetapan Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) PB HMI serta 4 (empat) anggota PB-HMI lainnya harus ditinjau ulang kembali,” ujar Dahlan Watihellu kepada wartawan Madina Line.Com ketika ditemui di Menteng, Jakarta Pusat (Jakpus), Rabu (09/11/2016).
“Harapanya, agar jangan hanya PB-HMI yang menjadi sorotan dalam hal ini atau organ mahasiswa lain seperti IMM (Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah), namun elemen-elemen lain juga harus dilihat,” imbaunya.
Sebab, sambungnya, betul yang tertangkap oleh foto itu ada indikasi diduga adalah salah seorang anggota HMI, dan PB-HMI dan pengurus IMM yang telah dianggap provokator. “Padahal, bisa juga aksi provokator ditunggangi oleh oknum-oknum tertentu kan?,” tanya Dahlan.
Dengan demikian, lanjutnya, kiranya pihak Polda perlu meninjau kembali penetapan tersangka Sekjen PB HMI, anggota HMI dan pengurus IMM lainnya. (Barto)
