Kemnaker Tegaskan Daya Tarik Gaji di Negara Tetangga Masih Jadi Alasan TKI Bekerja di Luar Negeri

Jakarta, Madina Line.Com – Direktur Penempatan Tenaga Kerja Luar Negeri (PTKLN) Direktorat Jenderal Pembinaan dan Penempatan Kerja dan Perluasan Kesempatan Kerja (Ditjen Binapenta dan PKK) Kementerian Ketenagakerjaan (Kemnaker) Soes Hindarno menegaskan, bahwa lapangan pekerjaan dan daya tarik gaji di negara tetangga masih menjadi alasan utama mengapa Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) memilih bekerja di luar negeri.
“Dengan berbagai prosedur yang memberatkan para calon migran, jalur ilegal pun dipilih. Jalur ilegal banyak bermunculan akibat kurangnya informasi layanan kerja ke luar negeri, terbatasnya akses informasi ke pasar kerja, dan yang paling utama, praktik percaloan,” ujar Soes Hindarno kepada wartawan pada acara Media Gathering yang mengambil tema Upaya Pemerintah Indonesia dalam Pencegahan TKI Non Prosedural. Sosialisasi yang diadakan di Ruang Tri Dharma Gedung Kemenaker RI, Senin siang (03/04/2017) dengan didampingi oleh Kepala Biro Hubungan Masyarakat (Karo Humas) Kemenaker Sahat Sinurat.
Menurut Soes, Pemerintah Indonesia berkomitmen tinggi dalam menghadirkan perlindungan kepada TKI. “Komitmen Pemerintah RI ini tidak hanya untuk para pekerja migran, tetapi juga perlindungan terhadap keluarganya,” katanya.
Soes Hindarno menjelaskan, bahwa pihaknya telah melakukan kerjasama dengan kementerian/lembaga (K/L) negara untuk mengemban beberapa hal, seperti pertukaran informasi, kerjasama pengembangan kesisteman dan integrasi, sosialisasi atau publikasi, verifikasi dan validasi dokumen, patroli di wilayah perbatasan laut dan darat, pengawasan keberangkatan TKI non prosedural, penanganan tindak lanjut atas temuan kasus/permasalahan, penegakan hukum, dan pembentukan satuan tugas (satgas) bersama. Ia menekankan, kasus TKI non prosedural tidak akan pernah selesai, kecuali dengan ada koordinasi yang sinergis segenap instansi terkait.
Namun demikian, imbuhnya Kemenaker saat ini sedang mengembangkan Desa Migran Produktif untuk mantan TKI sehabis masa kontraknya bekerja 2 (dua) tahun di luar negeri. “Desa Migran Produktif ini untuk mantan TKI berusaha menyambung hidupnya di dalam negeri yang saat ini sudah terbangun di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT),” terangnya.
Berdasarkan komitmen yang dipegang Pemerintah RI, di tahun 2016 telah dibentuk 11 (sebelas) Layanan Terpadu Satu Atap (LTSA). Pada tahun 2017, akan kembali dibentuk 10 (sepuluh) LTSA di lokasi kantong TKI.
Pemerintah RI berharap, sambungnya, bahwa produktifitas di dalam negeri harus dikembangkan dan menyejahterakan rakyat di sekitarnya. “Apabila hendak menjadi TKI di luar negeri, ikutilah prosedur yang ada tanpa mengambil jalur ilegal apalagi percaloan, karena Pemerintah RI menjamin adanya layanan yang ramah TKI bahkan kesejahteraan saat bekerja di luar negeri,” katanya.
“Saya berharap agar rekan- rekan media masa, baik cetak, elektronik, maupun online dapat menjadi mitra Pemerintah RI, guna meneruskan berita-berita positif kepada rakyat Indonesia terkait komitmen Pemerintah RI yang tak henti-hentinya selalu melindungi anak bangsa yang mencari nafkah ke luar negeri,” tandasnya.
